JBoss Certification
JBoss Professional Certification is organised into three tracks, each allowing for progression through a more advanced curriculum. The organization of the certification levels is shown in the diagram below.
To become a JBoss Certified Professional, you must
- Meet Specific Prerequisites. This includes placement exams and relevant JBoss training courses required for each level of certification.
- Pass Certification Exams. Exams are required as indicated above. Exams are based upon the content of the specific training course and consists of 50-75 multiple choice questions. Specific exam information is found on each training course page.
- Fulfill Training Day Requirements Certified JEMS Expert and Master JEMS Architect certification levels are based on meeting a required number of specialty training days. The available specialties are listed in the table above.
- Recertify on Major Releases Certified professionals will be required to re-certify with every major JEMS release to assure that they are current on JEMS technology.
- Place into the Middleware Track To enter the Middleware track, students must prove they have the basic Java and J2EE skills necessary to succeed. This may be done by either attending the JBoss for Java Developers course, or by taking the no-cost Middleware Placement Exam. It is highly recommended that either option be completed prior to attending the JBoss for Advanced J2EE Developers course.
